The working project of the Baku International Sea Trade Port complex in the city of Alat, Azerbaijan was developed by the engineering center "HYDROTRANS-ENGINEERING".

The huge and time-consuming design process included the following projects:

Ferry Bridge Complex:

• Central Pier;
• Central transition bridge;
• Two guide piers;
• Two 3-span bridges;
• Ro-Ro bridge (road transport);
• Bridge of dry cargo and containers;
• Ship Maintenance Bridge.

And also:

• The railway station of the port of Alat and the Port stage Alat-Alat Main;
• Highways within the site;
• Carports for motor transport;
• Office buildings;
• Communication lines and structures;
• Pedestrian crossings;
• Water treatment facilities;
• Electrical substation.

The cargo turnover of the port complex is 25 million tons of cargo per year and is one of the largest in the country.
