Maritime Infrastructure

The project features a complex channel system designed for diverse vessel navigation:

• Channels: West and East approach channels, and a dedicated cruise ship entrance.

• Coastal Protection: West and East breakwaters to ensure a calm harbor environment.

• Berthing Facilities: Specialized inner basins and anchorage zones for cruise liners and a private marina for the Venetian Harbour fleet.

Navigation and Traffic Control

Safety is managed by an on-site Vessel Traffic Control (VTC) Center.

• Radio Coverage: VHF zone extends up to 10 nautical miles.

• Communication: Mandatory radio contact for all incoming vessels via channels 72 and 77.

Land Integration

The island is linked to the mainland via a strategic road bridge. The shoreline infrastructure includes premium beach recreation zones.
